We use a digital x-ray system. Digital x-rays are safer, faster, environmentally friendly, and just plain better than the old fashioned x-rays.

• Safer, because digital x-ray sensor are much more sensitive allowing them to use a much lower amount of radiation. Studies show up to a 90% reduction in radation versus traditional x-rays.
• Faster, because they don’t need to be developed. Images are processed directly into the computer for you and Dr. Knopf to examine.
• Environmentally friendly, because the system avoids the use of harmful chemicals and does not produce hazardous waste.
• Better, because images from digital x-ray sensors can be magnified and the contrast can be adjusted allowing more precise diagnosis. These images can also be stored digitally allowing us to transfer them easily to specialists or insurance companies.
